Revlon Scented Nail Polish

I picked up a bottle of Revlon Scented Nail Polish the other day. You might ask, what is scented nail polish? This nail polish claims that it is scented when dried. So I bought a bottle in a colour called Gumdrop, which is a light milky purple. It’s much more purple than it appears onscreen [...]

Shoe Fetish

I have a mild shoe fetish and I went on a shoe binge recently – I bought 3 pairs of shoes in the month of June, and it’s only the 19th. Pair #1 – Mitju slip-on heels with basket woven platform, S$29.90 These are quite feminine — I can imagine them on a Japanese housewife [...]

Leopard

Yet another nail inspired by big cats: I used nail polishes from The Face Shop. PK103 for the base, PK105 for the dark pink spots and a generic black for the outline. I like this do, and it’s not as hard as it looks!

Tigress

I really like China Glaze’s Gold Digger – it makes me feel a million bucks. I painted a tiger print design on it. Though the index finger is a little messy because I overdid it, I like the overall effect. For tutorials just to go Youtube and you can find tons of nail art videos. [...]

Hada Labo SHA Lotion Review

Remember I attended the Hada Labo Media Intimate Session? So I came home and tried the products, mainly the Super Hyaluronic Acid Lotion. The lotion is the equivalent of a toner in the Western skincare system, but it feels very very different. With toner, especially the alcohol-laden ones (see: Clinique Toner No.4), we tend to [...]

Hada Labo Media Intimate Session

I was invited to the Hada Labo Media Intimate Session held at Marina At Keppel Bay yesterday. Hada Labo is a renowned Japanese skincare brand. Their star product is the Super Hyaluronic Acid (SHA) moisturizing “lotion” (which translates to “toner” for the Western skincare system). According to statistics, 7 million bottles of this lotion was [...]

China Glaze Nail Polish Haul

Other girls like OPI, I happen to be more smitten with China Glaze. I bought 4 colours at one go through a bulk purchase scheme. I’m not sure how much China Glaze in Singapore retails for (IF it’s sold here, that is), but I simply can’t resist their sparkle collection looking at what netizens are [...]

For Audrey

I love this shade of blue, otherwise known as the Tiffany Blue, by China Glaze. Even though the cream formula takes a while longer to dry compared to fast drying brands like Sally Hansen, it lasts longer on the nails. I didn’t even apply a top coat and it still hasn’t chipped after 5 days. [...]

Dejavu Fiberwig mascaras

In this session we tested 3 new products that are yet to be launched namely the Fiberwig Extra Long, Lash Knockout and Lasting Fine. The first two are mascaras and the last one is a crayon eyeliner. As [...]
