Tioman: Snorkelling
I suppose one of the highlights of the trip is the Renggis Island snorkelling trip. The package includes all the snorkelling gear and the short boat trip over to the island and it costs RM40 a person, and is supposedly for 1 hour. Initially we wanted to take up the longer package (3 hours) that [...]

Cold Storage Kid’s Run 2010
On Sunday, my little niece took part in the Cold Storage Kid’s Run held at the F1 pitstop. I tagged along to play shutterbug. Well, I bought my DSLR because it was going dangerously low stock in Singapore. Well, at the cheapest price-point anyway. A softcore unveil: The box. So plainly written what’s inside. Not an ounce of mystery. Or is there? Inside the box – the 300-page manual. I’ve only gotten halfway through that manual. There, the neckstrap [...]
Thorny
Little flower, little flower, did you miss the last train out too? Your thorns look so familiar, there, I think mine are blue. They call it over, they call it hardcore. Why, aren’t these the best thing? They look quite so che-che and foreboding, sometimes I even think I want more.

On Digital Photography
I know I sometimes whine about wanting a DSLR despite also whining that most of the time it’s the photographer, not the machine, that creates great pictures. I’m often caught in between these and fortunately for me my trusty Powershot camera is able to fulfil my every photographic need, from food to water droplet shots, [...]
