Clash and burn

Based on certain grounds
we conclude with little deliberation
that true love does not exist.
As though we would see it through our teary eyes.

Based on counter-evidence
we proved by weak induction
that love is not unconditional.
As though we’ve never given without expectation.

Can I fault you when our values collide and your choice of precedence does not coincide with mine?
We clashed and burned too late.

Wah. Why do I get a feeling that it’s from a class you took? You rock, even though I don’t quite understand half of it.

It’s actually a hybrid of two classes. One of which you are in. :P
