I seem to enjoy exploring the food available at B4 Ion Orchard. First there was Noo’s Thai Recipe, and now this – Hu Hu Udon.
As the name suggests, they specialize in udon. Udon, for the unintiated, is thick white Japanese noodles made of wheat flour. I like to call it the Japanese mee-tai-mak, but that’s for Hokkien Singaporeans to know.
I had the haikara karai udon ($13.80),which is udon in Japanese curry with sliced beef. The soup, or rather GRAVY for the udon is thick and flavourful. There are some more sliced beef that was cooked withe curry. It’s an okay curry udon, nothing to rave about, really. Besides, I think it’s expensive. For $13.80, I can get better fare elsewhere.
Conclusion: my last resort dying-of-hunger place to eat in Ion Orchard.
